Before I say anything about the piece, I need to stress that this is a test sculpt. It will only be cast if I meet the standards of the company I've been asked to help.
So, what I've done is break away from typical lizardman styles of design and gone with a more beastial T-rex look, smaller eyes further away from the snout and a wider, thicker jaw. Unlike a lot of other teeth based sculpts I've tried to up my abilities in this one by hand rolling every single tooth, even the thinner small ones at the front of the mouth. To help match the head I've also given the piece a very broad neck to support the head and the crushing power of the jaws (look at the thickness of a T-rex neck muscles and you'll know what I mean).
I've also added the occasional broken tooth and spike as well as scars and scratch marks to help him look like he's been in a lot of fights. The spikes along the neck and shoulder are just a base layer at the moment, they are only there to add shape to when I sculpt a detail layer over the top.
The arms will not be in that finishing pose, they're just idle for the moment while I work with the torso.
Any questions, ideas for poses and/or weapons let me know.
Sculpted in kneadatite, green stuff Length of head: (not including neck) 10mm
Oh and I'm not procrastinating, I've nearly finished the changes to the Escher ganger.
It is a possibility, but as I said at the start it's only a test piece, if it doesn't make the standard Felix goes for and if people don't like it then it won't be cast.
So it's a chance but not a certainty, don't get excited yet and please don't post it on any war gamming forums.
A continuation of my unexpectedly-popular guide on Mary Sue prevention. Feedback and support is completely welcomed! Thank you all for your support so far.
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

Tons of patience, a good film, a scalpel (minus sticking it in your knee) and lots of layering.
As for pose, I like the idea of it looking like it's making a leashing motion.
AOW -means avatar of war, means there will be a chance to buy one of your famous and amazing miniatures?
